Region 3733 (N03W55, Dkc/beta) underwent slight decay of the intermediate spots with some growth noted in the trailer spot area. New Region 3738 (S08E70, Dao/beta) was numbered in the SE and the remaining regions were stable or in decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
A weakly enhanced IMF and waning CME influences were observed this period. Total field strength ranged 1-12 nT and Bz varied +/-7 nT. Solar wind speeds were steady at around 350 km/s and the phi was positive.
