The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.
It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.
You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.
The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Hey there, celestial Crab folks! This is your favorite interstellar guru, serving up cosmic wisdom with a side of chuckles. 🚀😄
Cancer, you're currently under the enchanting influence of a very elderly New Moon, who's just about ready to retire at a ripe old age of 28.8 days. We're talking ancient, like, back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and WiFi was still a dream. Yes, that old.
But fear not, our lunar friend is gearing up for a comeback, planning to rock up on the sky stage full and fabulous at 9:58:21, on the 29th of September 2023. A diva? Absolutely. But then again, aren't we all a bit of a drama queen when the spotlight hits us? 🌕👑
Now, what does this mean for you, my crabby compadres? Well, it's time to go all in, channel your inner crustacean and retreat into your shell. Do some emotional spring cleaning, declutter those feelings, and maybe even reorganize your shells by color – because why not? 🦀🐚
As the moon starts to wax towards her full glory, you'll feel a gradual surge in your energy too. It's like your personal tide rising, bringing with it a renewed sense of purpose and motivation. Use this energy to push forward with your goals, but remember, slow and steady wins the race. The tortoise said so, and I trust him, he looks like he knows stuff! 🐢💡
Laugh a little, love a lot, and remember that the Universe has a knack for making things work out. Sometimes, it’s just about having a little faith in the cosmos and a lot of patience with yourself.
So, gear up, Cancer! The moon is about to put on a show and you're front row center. Enjoy the cosmic performance!
