Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Hey there, Cancer! Or should I say, space crab? Now, don't get all pinchy on me. Remember, in the grand cosmic scheme of things, we're all just tiny specks on a rock, circling a burning ball of gas. Now, your celestial guardian, the Moon, is currently in its First Quarter phase, which basically means it's halfway between new and full. Or as I like to call it, the "awkward pre-teen" phase of the lunar cycle. You might be feeling some of that awkward energy right about now, like you're stuck in the middle of something. Oh, and speaking of awkward, it's almost like being trapped on a spaceship with a Xenomorph, amirite? (Anyone...? Alien fans here...? No? Just me? Okay, moving on...) But fear not, dear Cancer. This is not the time to be scared by space monsters or life challenges. It's the perfect phase for stepping back and assessing your situation. Do you need to grab a flamethrower and handle things Ripley-style? Or perhaps a more diplomatic approach is called for, like convincing the cat to come out from under the bed. Either way, remember: in space, no one can hear you scream... But here on Earth, we're all ears. So, don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it! Stay strong, Cancer. And always remember, there's no problem in the universe that can't be solved with a little bit of humor, a healthy dose of determination, and possibly a really big spaceship. Until next time, #KeepItCosmic, #LunarLove, and #AlienAdventures!
